The International Conference on Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology (ICBEB) is an annual international meeting. The upcoming fourth annual conference, ICBEB2015, will be held in Shanghai, China, from August 18th-20th, 2015. The ICBEB Organizing Committee has coordinated ICBEB2015 in a similar fashion as the previous ICBEB2014, ICBEB2013, and ICBEB2012 conferences.

 

ICBEB is a platform for scholars, engineers, and scientists to present robust research demonstrating the expanding frontiers in the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Biomaterials, Biomedical Imaging, and Biomechanical Engineering. This conference will provide the most up-to-date research and cover a wide variety of application fields including; medicine, biology, physics, materials, computer science, chemistry and various clinical specialties.  

 

Each year, the success of the ICBEB conference surpasses the year before.The first conference, ICBEB2012, hosted 200 participants, mostly from China, and five esteemed guest speakers. The last conference, ICBEB2014, boasted nine highly respected guest speakers including; Prof. Dan Barouch from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Christopher R. Jacobs, Dr. Edward J. Ciaccio from Columbia University, and Dr. Ng Yin Kwee from Nanyang Technological University. More than 300 participants from across the globe participated in the conference. This year, you will again have the opportunity to view international research, network, and meet colleagues from around the world, and discuss the new methods in research, the practical challenges encountered and the solutions that will be adopted.

 

Apart from an interesting and stimulating program, there will be time to explore Shanghai; a beautiful, modern Chinese city that is both modern and steeped in history.
